Since February 2024, the c/o56 Hotel Chemnitz has been a proud partner of Too Good To Go. This cooperation enables us to use surplus food sustainably and reduce our ecological footprint at the same time. What is Too Good To Go?

Too Good To Go is an app that helps you to reduce food waste. Shops, restaurants, hotels and cafés make surplus food available at a greatly reduced price via the app. You can pick up these so-called "surprise bags" and save delicious things that would otherwise end up in the bin because they are about to expire.

Why is this practical?

You save money: the bags are often much cheaper than the regular price.
You save food: you help to ensure that less good food is thrown away.
You discover new things: You'll often find a mix of different products in the bags.

      How does Too Good To Go work at c/o56?

      Registration and search: Download the Too Good To Go app and search for "Too Good To Go Chemnitz".
      Reservation: Find the c/o56 and reserve a bag.
      Collection: Come to the hotel at the specified times and collect your bag from reception.

              What is Too Good To Go?

              Too Good To Go is an app that makes it possible to save surplus food from restaurants, hotels and other partners by offering it at a reduced price.

              How can I participate?

              Download the Too Good To Go app, search for the c/o56 and reserve a surprise box.

              What is included in the surprise box?

              The contents of the box vary daily, depending on what food is left.

              When can I pick up the box?

              The collection times are specified in the Too Good To Go app. Please note the specified times to collect your box.

              How much does a Too Good To Go bag cost?

              Our surprise bags cost between 3.00 and 4.00 euros and are always three times the value of the goods.

              Can I pay cash at Too Good To Go?

              Cash payment is not possible in the store.

              What happens if you don't pick up at Too Good To Go?

              If, in exceptional cases, you realize that you won't be able to pick up your portion after all, you can cancel it in the Too Good To Go app. However, this must be done 3 hours before the pick-up time. Otherwise it will be difficult for us to plan and other customers will no longer have the chance to save the bags.

              How do I pay at to good to go?

              You order and pay for your portion directly in the app. You can pay either by credit card or Paypal. Your credit card can be entered under "Payment methods", and you can select your information on the other payment options directly when ordering.
